Golf Chippers

Around the greens doesn't have to be hard. Chippers keep things simple so you can get the ball on and rolling without overthinking it.

Used with a putting-style stroke, they take out those heavy and thin misses and replace them with something a lot more consistent. Just land it on and let it run, easy to trust, especially when confidence is a bit shaky around the greens.

Are Chippers Legal?

Yes, provided the club has only one striking face. A double-sided chipper is not conforming, so if you play competition golf, check the model before you buy. Everything we stock is legal for club competition.

A chipper typically sits around 32 to 37 degrees of loft, roughly a 7-iron, and replaces a club in your bag rather than adding one. Most golfers drop a long iron or a rarely-used hybrid to make room. If you'd rather learn the shot properly, a short game lesson is usually the better long-term answer, but there's no shame in a club that just works.

If you're after a simpler way to chip it close, this is a good place to start. Compare against our golf wedges range, or browse all golf clubs.
