Golf Sets

Getting into golf doesn't have to be complicated.

Golf sets are designed to take the guesswork out of choosing clubs, with a driver, fairway wood, irons, wedges, putter and bag all matched to work together. These complete package sets are easy to hit, forgiving on mishits and ideal for golfers who want a simple way to get started.

Whether you're brand new to the game, returning after a break or looking for a hassle-free upgrade, a package set provides everything you need to get out on the course with confidence. Browse men's golf package sets and women's golf package sets for adult options, or junior golf sets if you're buying for a younger player who is still growing.

If you want to compare complete-set brands, browse our PGF Golf and Brosnan Golf ranges.

Package Set or Building Your Own?

A package set is almost always better value than buying the same clubs individually, and for a beginner it removes a lot of decisions that are hard to make before you've played much. The trade-off is that you get a standard specification rather than something matched to your swing. Once you're playing regularly, most golfers start replacing pieces one at a time, usually beginning with the driver or a set of irons.

If you're left handed, check our left handed golf clubs range, and it's worth looking at used golf clubs if you'd rather spend the budget on fewer, better clubs.

Not sure whether a set is the right starting point? Come and talk to us at Mount Maunganui or get in touch. Our PGA Professionals will tell you honestly if a package set suits you or if you'd be better served another way, and a club fitting can make sure the lengths and shafts actually suit you before you commit.
