Kevin first picked up a golf club back in 1997 in Whangarei, Northland, and he’s never looked back since. Encouraged by the local golf scene and the support of friends and family, he quickly developed a deep love for the game and the community that comes with it. He turned professional in 2007, completing his PGA apprenticeship at Northland Golf Club — an experience that cemented his passion not just for playing, but for helping others enjoy golf too.

Over the years, Kevin proudly represented Northland at Under-19, Under-23, and Senior Men’s level, testing his skills against some of the country’s best. His personal best round is an impressive 63, with his lowest competition round just one shot higher at 64 — proof that he knows how to keep it in play and keep his cool under pressure.

Kevin’s coaching philosophy is simple: golf is a game for everyone, but no two golfers are exactly the same. He firmly believes that while the fundamentals matter for every player, each swing should be tailored to suit the individual. One of Kevin’s biggest focuses is proper club fitting — when your clubs match your height, swing and speed, you make fewer compensations, play more consistently, and the game feels more natural and enjoyable.

He has a real knack for working with elite players and young golfers who want to develop their game and unlock their full scoring potential. But it’s not all about the numbers — for Kevin, golf is the ultimate challenge against yourself. It’s fun, competitive, social and never the same game twice. He’s committed to sharing that mindset with every player who comes through Golf 360’s doors.

These days, Kevin’s focus is on bringing the same level of care and dedication to his role as Golf 360’s Manager. He enjoys building lasting relationships with local golfers, making sure every visitor feels welcome and supported, and fostering an environment where players of all abilities can thrive.
